If you have found a stray, please call local animal shelters before contacting a rescue. They will check to see if the animal has been reported lost and they, or any veterinarian, can scan the animal for a microchip. You can help by posting the animal on your social media, Nextdoor or any of the lost animal pages. Hanging posters around the location you found the animal will also help.
