TMHPR New Arrivals!!

It is no secret that Take Me Home Pet Rescue(TMHPR)  has already experienced some fabulous adoption stories during 2015!!  And in normal TMHPR fashion, the Adoption Center and foster homes are not staying empty.

Sadly there is always a need for rescue.

Meet 7 week old Rory . . . .

Rory is shy little girl from the Dallas Animal Services and Adoption Center. She’s not feeling too well and has been diagnosed with sarcoptic mange which is treatable. She’s in the great hands of her amazing foster mom, Katie, so stay tuned for updates!  We can’t wait to share photos of Rory smiling and enjoying life!

Introducing the Oscar Puppies . . . .

These adorable babies were rescued by two Good Samaritans who had been keeping watch over their ferrel pregnant mama and feeding her every day.  When the Mama went missing for a couple of days, the Good Samaritans went looking for her babies.

Found in an abandoned trailer, these babies were rescued before they had to endure another cold and wet night alone.  Resting in warm beds with full tummies, these little ones are believed to be about 6 weeks old.  Spending a bit of time in the Adoption Center for some much needed love and vetting, then they will be off to loving foster homes until they are ready for adoption.

Watch for updates on these sweet babies, named for those actors & actresses who have been nominated for Oscar awards this season.

And we can’t leave out Simon . . . .

Simon is a very sweet boy who was rescued from a hard life on the streets by a TMHPR volunteer.  Just prior to his rescue he was attacked by an animal of some sort that did some damage so he still has some wounds that need to heal completely.

He received immediate vet care and was on an antibiotic so he is resting comfortably and enjoying his new life of relaxation. Simon enjoys the company of people and other cats.  He does not miss the cold, wet weather of the outdoors.
