Nov. 17th: TMHPR Pupdate

Today’s Take Me Home Pet Rescue Pupdate is full of wonderful news!!

We continue to be amazed with the outpouring of love and support from the community, our sponsors, donors and volunteers.  A huge THANK YOU to everyone who shares the stories of the TMHPR dogs and cats.  Because of you, we are able to help save more animals in our community.
Dallas Agility Working Group celebrated their 30th anniversary this past weekend.

Our volunteers worked the donation and raffle table in an effort to raise money for the dogs we work to save.
Rango and his Forever Mom, Irene volunteered to help accept donations.
Rango is a TMHPR alum who is an amazing tri-pawed pup.
He is Mr. October in the 2016 TMHPR Calendar!

Tugger and the Momager stopped by to show their support.
Tugger has been known to raise a foster puppy or two for TMHPR.
We love seeing Tugger and the Momager!  Rumor has it, he is heading to Hollywood this week!

Our Founder and Director, Elise Bissell was on hand to accept a check from DAWG for over $2,000.
The funds will go toward Picasso’s heart surgery.

More Good News!!

Our very own Bella has been invited to be featured on FOX’s Thanksgiving Show.  The All-Star Dog Rescue Celebration, hosted by Jane Lynch & Hillary Swank, invited a couple of the TMHPR dogs to be a part of the celebration.  Bella will be one of the dogs featured on the show.

Last Monday we met the camera crew out at the Richardson Barkway to film this beautiful girl interacting with both humans and other dogs.

Bella was rescued from the Mesquite Animal Shelter after her owner passed away.
Bella is quick to make friends with the camera crew.  She is an easy going dog who loves
attention from humans and other dogs.

We can’t wait to see how her TV debut goes for Miss Bella.
We are certain she will find her Forever Home!

We continue to hear FABULOUS things about our current Foster Pups.

New boy, Parker was rescued last week when he was found running around Fair Park.
When his owners were contacted, they didn’t even know this sweet boy was missing.
And even worse, they didn’t want him back.  He is now thriving in a Foster Home and learning what love really means.
We can’t believe this sweetheart is still looking for his Forever Home.
Teddy has learned what a loving family really is.  This spirited and loving boy
is ready to settle in to a home of his own.  Could you share his story?

Now . . . for another round of “Can You Guess These TMHPR Alumni” . . . .

Hint #1:  Puppy #1 Little boy brought in with his mother and 5 siblings.
Puppy #1:  Has grown into a beautiful dog who looks so much like his mother, Holly.
Puppy #2:  Also a beautiful boy who looks like his mother, Holly.

Puppy #2:  Grew up in the same Foster Home with Puppy #1.
If you guessed Rudy & Jingle, then you are CORRECT!
These boys gained popularity at the Uptown Park where they traveled in style in their vintage wagon.
