Let’s talk little . . .
Little guys who are looking for their forever homes . . .
These little guys may be little in size, but they have BIG personalities and lots of love to give!
Peanut is a Chihuahua/Dachshund Mix who has a lot of personality in a compact body. He just celebrated his birthday in February and weighs in at about 6 lbs. This little guy has been waiting ever so patiently for his forever home.

TMHPR Puppy Bowl in January.
Peanut loves to spend time cuddling and snuggling with people. He does great with older children and other small dogs. He would make a great napping buddy.
When Peanut is not cuddled in your arms, he loves to run and play. He loves to explore the back yard, running and jumping as he stretches those tiny legs on that long body. He loves to play with a toys and will chase and chew appropriately on balls or a Kong.
Peanut has been through all of that puppy training with his foster family and is now ready to find his forever home.
Saturday Meet & Greets make this little boy a bit nervous, so if you would like to meet him, please fill out an application online and a private meeting can be arranged. He is such a love bug. www.takemehomepetrescue.com
It is not just Cinderella who can have her own Prince Charming.
Meet TMHPR’s very own Prince Charming. Charming is an adorable (and charming) Miniature Pinscher mix.
Charming has not had an easy first year of life. He was found in the hottest month (August) abandoned in a metal crate for hours wearing a winter sweater. The temperature outside was approximately 105.
When his Good Samaritan finally came along, he was very close to dying. In fact, during his care, we almost lost him three different times. He is a dog with a huge heart and a strong will to live. And living the good life now in his foster home; but ready to find his Forever Family.
Charming is a sweet boy with lots of energy and a truckload of love to give. He has never met a stranger and holds no grudge against mankind. He loves other dogs and plays so well with them. He is potty and crate trained loves long walks and playing with toys.
Charming is not a morning dog, he likes to snuggle under any blanket he can find in the mornings – until his energy tank is full and then play all day long without stopping.
He has multiple patches on his back that have no hair due to the scarring that is the result of severe mistreating in his life before TMHPR. His hair is growing back nicely now!! It has just taking some time and some great nutrition.
Charming would do best with a family who is home more often than not. Or who will take him on adventures in the car with them. He is a very social dog and loves everyone he meets! He would do so well cheering on the kids from the sidelines as they play soccer, baseball or softball.
He needs a home willing to keep him warm in the winter and out of too much sun in the summer.
Both of these sweet little guys would make an excellent addition to a family. They have had great foster families prepare them for life with a Forever Family.
If you are interested in meeting these boys, please go to the TMHPR website and fill out an Adoption Form.
You will be guaranteed lots of love! www.takemehomepetrescue.com
